Snow Sculptures Jan. 21-30, 2019
Snow sculptures coming to town next week! 16 teams from around the world will take part in this annual snow event in Breckenridge, Colorado. During the Breckenridge International Snow Sculpture Championships, the teams will hand-carve from 20-ton blocks of snow turning it into beautiful art. The participants cannot to use any power tools. Only hand tools! The beautiful and enormous pieces of art will be sculpted over five days which comes to about 96 hours of work.

Support your favorite sculpture with the People’s Choice Vote. Throughout sculpting week, simply text the code of your favorite sculpture to vote. The code is located on the description of the sculpture. More details can be found at each sculpture and in the Thaw Lounge & Music.
Awards Ceremony
The awards ceremony on January 25th will determine the Gold, Silver and Bronze medalists of the International Snow Sculpture Competition. The ceremony will start at 6 pm and will be followed by acrobatic cirque show and grand illumination.

Bring your pup! Just make sure he/she is on the leash and away from sculptures.
