International Snow Sculptures in Breckenridge is happening again in 2020. This Championships event is almost here and we are really excited because it is the 30th anniversary of this event!
What are International Snow Sculpture Championships?

Overview
There are 16 teams from around the world that participate in Snow Sculptures in Breckenridge, Colorado. Their goal is to create enormous, snowy art. The participants will carve in 20-ton blocks of snow and build huge creations. They can only use hands because no power tools are allowed. The teams will spend five days sculpting in the snow bringing their creative ideas into reality.

Sculpting Days: January 20-23, 2020
Judging and Award Day: January 24, 2020
Viewing Days: January 24-29, 2020
The event site will close at 7:00 pm on January 29 and the Sculptures will be taken down.

You can submit your vote for your favorite snow sculpture at the Go Breck website.
Location
The snow sculptures in Breckenridge are located in the area around the Riverwalk Center at 150 West Adams Avenue, Breckenridge, CO 80424. The Warming Hut exhibit and event headquarters are inside the Riverwalk Center.
Parking
The free daily parking available to the public is located on Airport road. There are free shuttles that will bring you to town to view the sculptures. You should get out on the bus stop at F-lot which is where the event is held. Dogs are not allowed on the buses. You can bring your dog to the event if it is on the leash. Please, make sure you do not allow them to get close to the sculptures.
Is this event pet-friendly?
Yes, it is. However, keep in mind that it will be busy with lots of people, lights. Keep your pet on the leash and away from the structures.
The Snow Sculptures in Breckenridge is a free event and open to the general public.
