Best Events and Things to do in Breckenridge This Weekend
Welcome to this week’s list of fun events and things to do in the Breckenridge and Summit County area this weekend for May 12th – 18th, 2023. and Happy Mother’s Day! The list includes some Mother’s Day options!
Start your weekend with Comedy Stand-Up Night with Ben Kronberg at Highside Breweing in Frisco. Ben combines clever one-liners and witty observations with catchy songs that he performs while playing instruments like the guitar, casio-keyboard and iPhone! Much of his material has been inspired by girlfriends, who are now incidentally ex-girlfriends.
On Saturday do not miss Shakin’ at the Basin Spring Concert series with House with a Yard. Celebrate springtime in the Rockies at A-Basin with live music on Mountain Goat Plaza stage. House With A Yard (HWAY) is an Americana/ Indie folk project founded by dynamic songwriter Davey Wallace. Acoustic and electric instrumentation allow the band to explore the nuances of raw unrestrained rock, jazz/funk grooves, classical and baroque sensibilities, barn-burning bluegrass and the sweet deep pocket of old-time. Danceable, edgy, and melodic, House With A Yard delivers an immersive experience reflective of their northern Colorado home.
On Sunday start your day with Mother’s Day Brunch at Spencer’s Restaurant at Beaver Run Resort from 8am-2pm. Reservations are recommended. Then, head to Cabin Juice Patio from 2-4pm for Wine, Women and Watercolors.
