Best Events and Things to do in Breckenridge This Weekend
Welcome to this weeks list of fun events and things to do in the Breckenridge and Summit County area this weekend for April 28th – May 4th, 2023.
Well and we have (almost) reached the Mud Season. Breckenridge Ski Resort is closing down this Sunday (April 30th) and what typically comes with it – well, many businesses in town close for the month of May, which means fewer events. But before we say goodbye to the 2022/2023 Ski Season, let’s have some fun this weekend.
On Friday check out Live Music with Chris Koza at BlueBird Market in Silverthorne. Chris Koza is a singer-songwriter/performer who released over 15 albums of original work and has toured all over.
On Friday night you can also head to Highside Brewery in Frisco for Comedy Night featuring Stephen Agyei. Stephen Agyei is a Stand-Up Comedian, Actor and writer who hails from Denver, CO. He became one of the city’s most sought-after comedians. The winner of the 2012 Comedy Works’ Clean Comedy Contest, and 3-time finalist in the venue’s New Faces contest; With a style described as “calculated fearlessness.”

On Saturday do not miss Splash Into Spring Pond Skim at Breckenridge Ski Resort. Starts at 10 am! Splash Into Spring Pond Skin is an annual event and it will take place on Peak 7 for some slipping, sliding, and soaking up the sun. Registration is full but, luckily, pond skimming is an excellent spectator sport so come over to witness all the action and cheer.

Or you can also head to A-basin on Saturday for the Pride Weekend. They will be flying a giant Pride flag down one of the ski runs, there will be a live band in the base area and, of course, DJ Vanaken will be returning for a legendary Apres party at Black Mountain Lodge. It is all day event both on Saturday and Sunday.
Finish off your weekend with live music with John Truscelli at HighSide Brewing .
